Pre-K Week 2

Here we are starting week 2 of Sarah's pre-k. The first week went very well. Sarah LOVES to use shaving cream and write her numbers. I'm still not sure if she's a lefty or a righty. She does write with both. I think she's leaning more towards the right side but i'm not 100% yet.

She also loved doing the "Number sort". This worked out well because she could recongnize more of her numbers than I realized. Once she got to "3" she said to me, "What number is this?", I said, "3" and she never asked again. She got it!!
This week she's sick. I said to her today, "Are you going to be well enough to do your school work?" and with a big grin she said, "YES"..then she wiped her runny nose with the back of her hand. Ugh!!

A.C.E. Curriculum Review

I don't usually post reviews because , like most people, we all have opinions but I felt compelled to post about A.C.E. **Disclaimer** I did not receive any compensation for my "Review". I did not receive any free products or curriculum for my review. I wanted to start out by saying that I allowed all the poor reviews of A.C.E. to influence my choice. Now most of the reviews were about the Christian content of A.C.E. and not the academic content. Some were from websites that were Atheists, so I took those with a grain of salt. Caveman is very proud of his grade!!  That said, before I tried A.C.E., I used a variety of curriculum. BJU, MUS, LOE..oh wait.. those acronyms might get annoying.. *Bob Jones Un. *Math u See *Logic of English *My Father's World *Son Light *Alpha Omega LifePacs Now all of the above curriculums are EXCELLENT.. **Updated**Norwex Vs. Ecloth ** Updated **

A friend of mine started selling Norwex. I had no idea what it was at the time. She sent me an invite to her party, via Facebook. I decided to look and I couldn't make it to the party but I wanted to buy something. I went to the Norwex site and was shocked at the prices. I though, "Oh no way!" Then I thought, "Holly isn't impulsive. She's not someone who would waste money, these must be good". I went and watched some of the video's she posted about the product and was intrigued. I decided to buy the "Enviro cloth" and "Window cloth". They were pricey but if they could do what the video showed me, you know...the one with the chicken??
