The new year has started and we've been running from the start! We've been busy with gymnastics and taekwondo!! Never a dull moment here. I can't believe February is almost here. To celebrate, I created some cute planner covers and dividers. These match my February Poster !  These can be used in any planner. Simply Print, put in a page protector, laminate, and write in what you want. You can edit these in any program. I am uploading PDF and JPG versions. The PDF version can also be used in any portrait-sized digital planner. The Jpg version can be inserted as a graphic on the page of any document/digital planner. You can resize these, they're a high resolution, you just want to make sure you keep the same aspect ration/constrain the proportions. For years we've seen the reality tv phenomena happening. People all over are loving reality tv shows. From Dance Moms to the Duggars, people are watching.  Why?  Why are we so interested in reality tv?  Could it be that we're sick and tired of fake tv? Romantic shows? Phony Sit-coms?  The question, "Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?" has been answered.  Neither!!  Today shows are being used to try to influence us politically. People are walking away from Cable television. With Youtube, people have become their own stars. Hollywood isn't needed. People are choosing what they want to watch and are no longer relying solely on Hollywood to tell us what to watch.  This has me really thinking. Happy Thanksgiving!!  Thanksgiving marks the start of the Christmas season for us!  We had an amazing Thanksgiving. My son, his wife, and Henry, her service dog were here.  We had a great time!  I made these covers and dividers for January. The covers can be edited if you know how to add in text. For those of you using a MAC, you can add in the text using Preview. For those using Word, you add the files like an image and then add a text box.   I made these as 8.5 x 11. I have uploaded them as PNG files. You can adjust the size of these, keeping the aspect ratio.  These were made using graphics from Chantahlia Designs .  I do not charge for them. Today Sarah and I are leaving for a mission trip with our church family.  Click Here if you'd like to learn about our Church, Calvary Chapel in Clayton , NC.  I love my church family. Nothing but real people, real sinners, learning how to love the Lord and serve Him daily.   While some mission trips are nothing more than vacations, this one won't be. Sleeping on the floor, etc. I'm looking forward to this time with Sarah, but NOT sleeping on the floor. My back isn't going to like it. We're not perfect. Far from it, but I love being able to do this with her. Getting back to the reality of how blessed we are.  We take so much for granted here in America. We're blessed and live in a country where our standard of living is much higher than the others. This trip is also about growing in His love. Fall has finally arrived here in NC. Fall weather means cool mornings, cool evenings and open windows!  This is my happy place.  Moving from NY to NC was such a blessing but getting used to the warmer weather has proven to be harder than I thought it would be. My third year here and I'm feeling more acclimated to NC weather.  That doesn't mean I don't look forward to the cooler weather!!  To celebrate I created 12 Notebook covers or planner dividers. It's almost October and I didn't want to forget about the weekly planner for my homeschool moms!!  My children love the different planner pages monthly. It's just something I like to do to make the seasons more fun. I created 3 different ones this week. One is specifically for my ACE moms!! The other two are generic. One is blank and other has the days of the week, and you can fill in the subjects.  Click here to download I don't actually print out new ones each week. You can do that but these are colorful and take up quite a bit of printer ink. If you're like me, you like to save ink where you can.  I print these out and laminate them.  I use a sharpie to write in the daily work, and alcohol cleans this right off.  Sometimes I'll print out two different prints and laminate back to back. Click Here to download October is almost here, and I'm very excited. There is nothing like chilly, crisp fall mornings. In my case, the start of Fall means that my weather is still in the '90s. I'm not complaining. Ok, I'm complaining. I don't miss the snow of NY, but I do miss the beautiful fall mornings and fall leaves.  I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but my children seem to love when I surprise them with new covers.  There's nothing like a cute notebook or planner cover to start your new month of on a celebratory note!  These can also be used as a planner divider.  I created these sets. I use The Happy Planner discs for my children's planners.  These covers or dividers are A4, letter size. I have uploaded them as a PNG, so that you can resize them to any size you use. Happy Memorial Day! For some,  this day is a sad one. They're missing loved ones who gave up their lives for our freedom. Thank you to those who have sacrificed everything!! Thank you to the spouses who are at home, keeping the home front going!!  In celebration of this weekend, I was hoping to get this done earlier in the week and that wasn't happening.  I created a youtube Video/Vlog to show you how I use these. With Summer quickly approaching, many of us are looking forward to the break from the school year.  We are year-round homeschoolers, which means that we only take off the month of July.  This year, because of Sarah's gym schedule, we may be changing that.  Looks like she'll be going from 9am - 12 am 4 days a week. So getting school work done in the morning may be a bit harder.  I love the freedom of homeschooling and add to that year-round homeschooling and we've got PLENTY of extra time to play with. This shouldn't be too big an issue because Sarah is great at managing her time. That's one thing that homeschooling is great for teaching, *Time Management*.  One of the biggest issues we've had is keeping track of everyone's schedules. I know that many keep their appointments on their phones. Some keep a planner, etc.  I keep all my appointments on my phone, which is great. The problem is that my husband doesn't. April went by so quickly!! It's been a whirlwind of activities, gym practice,  State competitions and now, this weekend, we're off to Regionals!! We've been crazy busy here. Soccer season for my little Caveman and another meet for Flippin Princess this past weekend. We drove to Myrtle Beach, SC with some friends. She competed at the Coastal Classic. Iphone, Ipad and a Mac desktop. I've never been hacked on an Apple device.  I was *thinking* about switching to an Android phone for the storage. I was getting a pedicure and these two ladies walked in. We started chatting and she had the new Note 9 phone?? Not sure but it was an android phone. She was my age or perhaps a bit older. She was telling me that she had the phone for a few months and had already been hacked.
