Colorful Summer

Image
Dear North Carolina,  I'd like to file a formal complaint against the weather. I don't know who at Mother Nature woke up and said, "You know what would be fun? Let's wrap the entire state in a hot, wet towel," but I'd like a word. Stepping outside in North Carolina right now isn't "going outdoors." It's volunteering to be steamed like a basket of dumplings. The weather app keeps saying it's 97°, but "feels like 108°." Oh, thank you. That's incredibly helpful. It's nice to know my weather app has also started lying to protect my feelings. The humidity is out here committing crimes. My glasses fogged up before I made it to the porch. My hair has expanded into a witness protection program. I took a shower this morning and somehow came home needing another one... after walking to the mailbox. My car has become an Easy-Bake Oven. The steering wheel? Lava. The seat belt buckle? A medieval torture device. The seat itself? Con...

Digital Planning, Charter School and Back to work!!

Image
Life has changed dramatically since my last post! First of all, my two youngest children started attending a local charter school. My third child, Sarah, graduated from that same school and is now heading off to college. How did that happen? I'm pretty sure she was in kindergarten about three weeks ago. My youngest, David, is now in 10th grade. Tenth grade! Apparently, time moves at warp speed once you become a parent. Oh, and did I mention that I work at the school now? Yep, I'm working full-time. Between being a parent and working at the school, I practically live there. At this point, they should probably just give me my own parking space and a cot. In my spare time—which seems to exist only in theory—I still love creating digital planners. I've just finished a monthly, weekly, and daily digital planner for 2026–2027, starting in July. I'm also hoping to create some matching stickers to offer for free here on the blog. Why free? Because I enjoy making them! Plus, if ...

Back to School 2022!!

Image
Here we are at the start of another year of homeschooling!  I’m so amazed at the Lords Mercy and Grace!  I’m also stunned at how quickly it’s going. Even though I try to slow things down and really take in each moment, it seems to be flying by.,  Sarah is in 9th grade and David is now in 6th grade.  This year I gave Sarah the choice of going into a local hybrid or private school. She decided to stay with homeschooling. (My heart was happy)  She is no longer competing in gymnastics, but is now busy with another love. Spiritual Twist Productions.  She loved gymnastics and her coaches were amazing but after breaking both her wrists doing “Yurchenko Drills”, the reality of the danger set it. She also had no time for other interests.  This Summer she did STP’s Summer Intensive and they performed “Acts a City Rising”. This was an amazing experience. This also kept us very busy.  David has continued with his Karate and is making improvements! He’s ...

A New Year - Fabulous February Posters

Image
The new year has started and we've been running from the start! We've been busy with gymnastics and taekwondo!! Never a dull moment here. I can't believe February is almost here. To celebrate, I created some cute planner covers and dividers. These match my February Poster !  These can be used in any planner. Simply Print, put in a page protector, laminate, and write in what you want. You can edit these in any program. I am uploading PDF and JPG versions. The PDF version can also be used in any portrait-sized digital planner. The Jpg version can be inserted as a graphic on the page of any document/digital planner. You can resize these, they're a high resolution, you just want to make sure you keep the same aspect ration/constrain the proportions. For those living in Australia, their new year hasn't started off well. Many of the graphics I get from Janelle from Chantahlia Design . The fires have devastated many on that Island. She started a campaign to he...
