I can hardly believe that Summer is almost over. It seems like this has been the longest year but the shortest Summer. This quarantine had my schedule all turned around and I haven’t blogged since I posted the free student planners back in March. It feels good to be back!  What’s been going on? Well, like most, we’ve been home, socially distancing, and trying to stay as healthy as possible. Going a bit crazy at times but our community pool opened up and that was a blessing.  Sarah switched gyms and was back practicing by the end of April. David continued to do his Taekwondon classes via Zoom. He’s back at the gym now and getting ready to practice 3-4 days a week. His 1st competition was cancelled and we’re not sure when he will officially start competing now. Sarah has quite a few competitions scheduled for this coming year but we will have to see what happens. She will be competing level 5 and is VERY Excited.  To celebrate her birthday , I’m offering 2 digital planners....

"Clean your home and keep it clean!"  We've all heard and read this advertising ploy. Isn't that what we're all looking for? We clean our homes every day. We're always looking for a faster, better & more efficient way to clean out homes, but the reality is that we're all looking for a way to keep our homes clean.  Go to any store today and you'll see a large array of storage. In fact, the storage sections of most stores today are usually one of the largest. only surpassed by the cold cereal aisle.  Kitchen storage, laundry storage, bathroom storage. Why?? Could it be we have too much stuff??  I think we do. Sometimes less is more!! Look at all the books (Please do not look at my book hoard.. Errr.. I mean collection.) about "Simplifying" and Marie Kondo's book. These all talk about getting rid of excess *stuff* and only keeping what you LOVE and what is really NEEDED!!  What's at the root of this? Sure,...

I was trying to edit my blog and decorate it for the holidays. Please put on some sunglasses and continue reading. I will be fixing it, but this month has gotten away from me. 💁 Where did this month go? Seriously? It seems like just yesterday I was making a huge turkey?  This month has been a whirlwind of parties, homeschooling,  shopping and of course, the start of Sarah's new season of competitions. We've tossed in David's Taekwondo too!!  For January, I think of winter. I actually had a hard time coming up with something for this month's calendar. I'm not sure why? Today Sarah and I are leaving for a mission trip with our church family.  Click Here if you'd like to learn about our Church, Calvary Chapel in Clayton , NC.  I love my church family. Nothing but real people, real sinners, learning how to love the Lord and serve Him daily.   While some mission trips are nothing more than vacations, this one won't be. Sleeping on the floor, etc. I'm looking forward to this time with Sarah, but NOT sleeping on the floor. My back isn't going to like it. We're not perfect. Far from it, but I love being able to do this with her. Getting back to the reality of how blessed we are.  We take so much for granted here in America. We're blessed and live in a country where our standard of living is much higher than the others. This trip is also about growing in His love. It was suggested to me that I post my covers and dividers earlier. ok, it was more than suggested. It seems that I'm late in posting, making it difficult for people to have the time to print and laminate all my free prints!!  I'm starting with Hanukkah. That's right!  The forgotten holiday! The holiday of lights!! Eight wonderful nights of remembering how the L-rd provided.  ** While I frequently type G-ds name, out of respect for my Jewish sisters and brothers, In this blog post, I will NOT be doing that. **  It's difficult finding Hanukkah graphics and digital scrapbooking art. When I find it, I try to buy it when it's on sale. It's not something that is easy to find for free.  I print these out and laminate them for holiday planner covers.
