I started using MFW Kindergarten with Sarah and I quickly realized that it wasn't going to fit our needs.
It's a cute curriculum but it's really closer to a prek program.
I decided to go with Sonlight....
I'm hoping to keep a running blog on our Kindergarten adventures with Sonlight. Lets see how faithful I am.

I'd love to hear what you think of Sonlight. I'm trying to plan for next year with our 6, 4, 2 year olds and baby. I'd also love to hear about your cloth diaper wash routine the next time you feel like doing a cloth diaper related post. We just got a HE front loader and it's giving me fits trying to figure out a new wash routine!

ReplyDeletei'm only seeing this now. Sorry for the late response. I was not happy about sonlight. I have a post about it. You can read in detail what I didn't like about.
Right now i'm not using cloth because my washing machine does not wash in hot water. Due to the new "Green" washing recommendations, manufacturers are making their new washers to not allow the water to be hotter than 95 degrees. Even if your water is heated to 130 degrees , the machine will shut off the hot and only allow cold in until your water temp is 95 or lower. The only washing machines out there right now that don't have this feature yet are "Speed Queens". I do plan on buying that but we just lost our computer, fridge and dishwasher in 2 weeks. So i'll need to wait.
